SURG 2330 - Surgical Procedures II3 sem hrs cr
(3 lecture hours)
A continuation of Surgical Procedures I. Students will complete their study of relevant anatomy, pathophysiology (including tumors, inflammation, infection, and fluid and hemodynamic disorders), surgically treatable diseases and disorders, preparations, diagnostic interventions, instrumentation, purpose, intervention, postoperative-patient care considerations, and expected outcome for surgical procedures covered in the course. Prerequisite: SURG 2321
In rare and unusual circumstances, a course prerequisite can be overridden with the permission of the program director.
