BIOL 2230 - Microbiology4 sem hrs cr (3 hours lecture-3 hours laboratory)
This course is a study of micro-organisms, especially bacteria, with emphasis on cytology, morphology, physiology, genetics, medical aspects, and cultural techniques. Laboratory experiments are designed to familiarize the student with microbiological techniques, cultivation, isolation, identification of bacteria and other micro-organisms. Prerequisite: Exemption from or completion of ENGL 0810, READ 0810 and MATH 0810. Strongly Recommend BIOL 1110 prior to BIOL 2230.
