PARA 2300 - Paramedic Clinicals I5 sem hrs cr
This clinical education course is comprised of time spent in various area hospitals, clinics, field trips, and State EMS meetings. Major emphasis is placed on emergency room, labor and delivery, pediatrics, operating room, and recovery room, various intensive care units, health departments, psych unit, and other relative clinical sites. A total clinical time of 240 hours will be completed this semester. Participants must have a “C” or better to progress in each Paramedic course and to successfully complete the program of study. 16 clinical hours per week.
Pre-requisite: Acceptance into the paramedic program, PARA 1100, PARA 1200, and maintenance of an EMT license
Co-requisite: PARA 2100, PARA 2200
