MATH 1720 - Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus II3 sem hrs cr
This course is a study of trigonometric functions and their application to right and oblique triangles, linear and angular velocities, vectors, graphical representation of trigonometric functions, identities and conditional equations, composite angle formulas, and other selected topics. Prerequisite: Documented eligibility for collegiate mathematics; one high school credit each in algebra I, algebra II, and geometry. Students who have completed DSPM 0800 must pass either DSPM 0850 or MATH 1003 before taking MATH 1720. Students who have completed Learning Support must pass MATH 1003 before taking MATH 1720.
