BIOL 2230 - Microbiology4 sem hrs cr (3 hours lecture-3 hours laboratory)
This course is a study of micro-organisms, especially bacteria, with emphasis on cytology, morphology, physiology, genetics, medical aspects, and cultural techniques. Laboratory experiments are designed to familiarize the student with microbiological techniques, cultivation, isolation, identification of bacteria and other micro-organisms. Prerequisite: Documented eligibility for collegiate level English. Recommended BIOL 1110
