PHYS 1050 - Foundations of Quantum Computing

3 sem hrs cr

This course is intended for anyone with an interest in quantum computers. Subjects covered include history of computing, linear algebra, the postulates of quantum mechanics, and the basics of quantum computing.  Prerequisite: Exemption from or completion of learning support courses.

In rare and unusual circumstances, a course prerequisite can be overridden with the permission of the Department Lead for the discipline.
