Steering and Suspension Systems covers electric steering, adaptive suspension, and Driver Assist systems. Topics include theory, operation, diagnosis, service, and repair of steering and suspension systems and components including Electric Power Assist steering systems, air suspension systems, speed-adaptive suspension systems, wheel alignments, and all-wheel alignments.

- Identify the components of chassis systems and define associated terminology
- Compare and contrast various chassis types
- Explain the effects of incorrect chassis alignment
- Indicate what areas of production have the greatest impact on chassis alignment
- Modify basic components to wheel alignment specifications
- Inspect suspension systems for damage
- Utilize equipment for measurements
