Business and Technology
Associate of Science Degree

Students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field in Management are typically designated “pre-business” or “basic business” when they enter the four-year college or university until they have met the following requirements and have been fully admitted. To be fully admitted, students must complete requirements similar to the following:

Although students may take the above courses at Motlow, they still must meet the specific four-year college or university requirements. Please consult the catalog of the college or university you plan to attend for specific requirements.

GENERAL EDUCATION (41 credit hours)


Social/Behavioral Sciences (6 credit hours)


History (6 credit hours)


MATHEMATICS (3 credit hours)


AREA OF EMPHASIS REQUIREMENTS (19 credit hours)


Semester Hours Credit: 60 or (see notes below)


All management majors who are required to take Learning Support must also complete MSCC 1300 First-Year Experience , and the degree program will require 63 credit hours.
