This course provides instruction and practice in listening to, speaking, reading, and writing basic Spanish and promotes cultural awareness. The course is designed to correct A89 language deficiencies and to serve as an introduction to the Spanish language.

SPAN 1001 cannot be used to satisfy any part of the foreign language sequence for an AA degree.
