NET 2130 - Seminar in Nursing

This course focuses on ethical, legal, and professional trends and issues in nursing, and on selected aspects of leadership and management. Varying responsibilities and roles of nurses in hospitals and other agencies are explored, as are the needs of the graduate associate nurse for adaptation to the work setting. Group discussions, student presentations, field trips, and guest speakers are utilized to provide opportunities for students to explore the legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks of the nursing profession. Prerequisite: NET 2410 Corequisite: NET 2420.
